Human Resources Manager: As a leader of our Human Resources Team, this role acts as a liaison for employees while enforcing company policies and practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the HR Director, VP Operations, and recruitment team to create, implement, and monitor HR short and long-term HR strategies, employee recruitment programs and employee retention plans.
  • Responsible for onsite management of recruiting, including coordinating interviews, outreach to candidates and ensuring our recruitment log is kept up to date.
  • Maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Manage benefit administration, including processing health insurance and 401K enrollments and plan changes, managing billing and federal reporting, serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries, and assisting with renewals and Open Enrollment.
  • Coordinating communications to staff through written materials and/or group presentation.
  • Manage personnel files, both physical and within our HR systems.
  • Act as the central point-of-contact for all HR-related issues, concerns, and questions from new and existing employees.
  • Administers worker’s compensation and unemployment compensation plans by filing appropriate claims/reports in a timely manner.
  • Manage personnel related investigations and hearings in and organized manner.
  • Coordinates company safety and policy trainings
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Manage records all employee time and attendance such as vacations, personal, sick, and etc.
  • Backup for payroll, including serving as a secondary contact for payroll-related inquiries, processing payroll bi-weekly for 100+ employees, providing necessary reports to management, updating, and ensuring accuracy of data within payroll system.
