Nestucca Ridge Family of Companies - Pacific City
Our finance and accounting team serves our Family of Companies which include Pelican Brewing Company, Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa, and the Inn at Cape Kiwanda. We are adding an Accounts Payable Specialist to our amazing, collaborative team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks including circulating vendor invoices to the appropriate manager for approval and entering them in into accounting software upon receiving approval.
What you will do:
- Ensure all vendor invoices are coded to the appropriate expense account and company
- Follow up with appropriate manager with questions
- Pay vendor invoices in a timely manner once approved by cash flow manager
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Obtain & organize W-9 information from vendors, assist in preparation of annual 1099 reporting
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
What you will need to be successful:
- 2 Years of accounts payable processing required
- Have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Possess excellent data entry skills
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
What Matters:
- HS degree or GED
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to use a computer for various tasks
Nice to have:
- Working knowledge of the QuickBooks
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
