Tillamook Estuaries Partnership (TEP) received additional funding through the National Estuary Program thanks to bipartisan support in Congress. We are using these funds to create a new Crew Lead position at our native plant nursery!
Our nursery grows over 30 species of trees, shrubs, and forbs specifically for our habitat restoration partners (it is not open to the public). Inventory can exceed over 100,000 plants, with year-round operation. The Crew Lead will be responsible for productivity as well as being a role model for the 6-8 person work crew from the Oregon Youth Authority (OYA).
We are recruiting people with at least two years’ experience working with youth crews (see examples on our online job description), who can balance encouragement, patience, and productivity. Knowledge of Oregon native plants is a plus!
