Job Overview

At Skillright Buildings, we’re dedicated to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement — both in our work and in our people. We’re looking for hardworking, motivated individuals to help build high-quality pole buildings throughout Tillamook County, Oregon.

This position offers hands-on experience across multiple construction trades, including framing, sheet metal installation, and concrete work.

Responsibilities-

• Assist with all stages of pole building construction, from setup to final touches
• Support carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
• Help install sheet metal roofing and siding
• Prepare job sites for concrete pours and assist with finishing work
• Operate hand and power tools safely (training provided)
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow instructions and learn new tasks quickly
• Show up on time, ready to work, and contribute to the team

Requirements-

• No prior construction experience required — we provide on-the-job training
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to lift and carry materials and perform physical labor outdoors
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Tillamook County
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license (required)

Pay & Schedule-

• $19–$20 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Work performed within Tillamook County only
