PLEASE READ FULL JOB DESCRIPTION. We are seeking a very flexible person to learn our design style while you perform core store functions, including cleaning and processing flower shipments, taking orders over the phone and entering them into our computer system, aiding the design team in setup and prep work, helping customers, cleaning the shop, doing tuxedo/suit measurements, and doing county-wide deliveries. Experience is not required but helpful. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Due to our insurance policy for driving a company vehicle, the applicant must be at least 25 years of age. Must be able to go up and down stairs and lift 30 lbs repetitively. You should have a creative talent and be willing to learn a new career from the ground up.
Qualified applicants will be contacted by email or phone. Our shop is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm. Applicant must be available for all store hours. There are times when we may need you to work after hours and on Sundays for upcoming holidays.
WE ARE AN EVENT-DRIVEN BUSINESS WHERE MOST EVENTS TAKE PLACE ON WEEKENDS, SO WORKING WEEKENDS IS A MUST. Also, Saturday’s hours may be longer than 4 hours depending on the delivery schedule.
Please feel free to stop in and apply in person. Must be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. There are times throughout the year that we would need you to help full-time for holidays and to fill in for others. The current job opening would be Monday-Friday 9am-1pm and every other Saturday 10am-2pm, plus delivery time on Saturday.
10 weeks out of the year you may be asked to work full-time hours and some overtime on holiday weeks. The ideal candidate would have a very flexible day schedule.
Must be good at computers, memorization, and multitasking.
