The Blue Heron is looking for a Wine bar Associate!
Main Goal
Give customers an excellent experience!
Wine bottle sales.
This position requires
Enthusiasm, friendliness & reliability
Great customer service & communication with customers
Ability to make wine bottle sales
Able to work alone as well as a team
Willingness to learn cocktail drinks & follow recipes
Able to stand for entire shift
Able to take direction & adapt to changes
While we do currently offer wine tasting, wine by the glass, & a few craft cocktails this position needs to have a real focus on bottle sales.
Must have before being hired
Valid OLCC Certificate
Valid Food Handlers Card
ID & Social Security Card or a Passport
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Greet customers with a friendly & positive attitude
Stay customer focused and provide an excellent guest experience
Follow & comply with all OLCC regulations
Operate a Point-of-Sale system
Meet daily and weekly sales goals
Restock & price wine inventory
General stocking, cleaning, & maintenance of wine bar
Must be able to follow directions from Team Lead & Managers
Must be Reliable & come to work each day with a positive attitude.
Excellent knowledge of wine or willingness to learn
