Do you have a passion for cooking and creating great food in a fun, fast-paced environment? The Pastega Activity Center is looking for a dependable, energetic Cook to join our kitchen team!

The PAC serves families, bowlers, event guests, and community members, offering a variety of fresh, made-to-order meals. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in food quality, and provides excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and presented attractively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Assist with food prep, inventory, stocking, and receiving deliveries.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to provide outstanding service.
• Assist with catering, special events, and tournaments as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or restaurant experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Evening and weekend availability is preferred.
