Welcome Center Team Member

Do you enjoy helping people and creating a welcoming environment? The Tillamook County Family YMCA is looking for energetic, friendly, and dependable individuals to join our Welcome Center team!

As the first face our members and guests see, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. If you’re passionate about customer service and making a difference in your community, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Welcome members, guests, and program participants with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Answer phones and respond to questions about memberships, programs, and facility operations.
• Process memberships, program registrations, and daily transactions using YMCA software.
• Provide tours to prospective members and share the benefits of YMCA membership.
• Assist with member check-in and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Help keep the Welcome Center clean, organized, and inviting.
• Support YMCA events and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling and sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, professional, and work well as part of a team.
• Evenings, weekends, and flexible availability are a plus.
• Must be age 18+
